Oh, my best Rebbe Perl, how fond are my memories of you teaching me in Yeshiva. I am not sure, if I would have survived Yeshiva, if it wasn’t for you. Your teaching was exciting, and always looked forward to story time, at the ending of class. I don’t work in Chinuch, but take my hat off to those who do. Especially to the best Rebbe on earth! BEST 6TH GRADE REBBE

Rabbi Perl was the BEST 6th grade rebbe in ULY in the 80’s.
His stories were legend (Eglon needing a wheel under his belly since he was so fat; “2:20 time for Mincha” at cliffhangers in stories each day).

And the Melave Sundays.
And standing at 770 when the rebbe came back from the ohel and saluting him as a class while singing Tzivos Hashem songs to the rebbe’s joy and encouragement.

Thank you Rabbi Pearl for brining our rich Chabad history to our children in a very lively form. A challenge that we parents are struggling with day to day in our ‘fierce battle’ of the 21st century…….to counter the outside negative forces of today.

What an amazing year that was for me. To be in Rabbi Perl’s class. I remember, my mother fighting with the principal, to have me in Rabbi Perl’s class. My mother said, that the principal had many requests, for their sons to be in his class.

I wish he was teaching today, so I, and my son could have that same memorable experience.

This is so awesome. I couldn’t partake in a Farbrengen since I just gave birth. I’m listening to this in my hospital bed and feel extremely part of this story. I was taken into the actual “secret council” and the Alter Rebbe’s times. WOW! My baby is part of the Yud Tes Kislev story and I’m feeling holy. Thank you very much. i am 35, and still remember rabbi perl’s stories from third grade in LA. i still remember the faithful mission and golem stories. when I read these stories in the original books which you probably got them from, does not do the story justice. the third grade version i heard from you were much better. your stories kept us interested and excited to learn. it’s nice to hear you voice again, it has not changed much. Hatzlacha Raba !!
